Ayo Ọlọ́pọ́n exists in many family rules. One documented public version uses a 'make four' capture rule.

Setup

Two rows of six, four seeds per pit.

Capture (documented version)

When sowing finishes in an opponent's pit and that pit now contains exactly four seeds, capture those four.

Feeding

Feed an opponent whose row is empty when possible.

Win

Match endings vary: capture-total, opponent-exhaustion, or consecutive wins. Declare before play.

Rulesets

Ayò Ọlọ́pọ́n

Playable

2×6 board with relay sowing. Capture when the final seed lands in an empty pit on your own row and the opposite pit is occupied.
